GS200 Sanitary Silicone

GS200 is a rapid curing, sanitary grade silicone sealant with excellent resistance to mould and mildew. It is ideal for applications in: bathrooms, showers and wet rooms; kitchens; changing areas and hospital sluice rooms. GS200 is designed for interior use.

Usage/purpose

GS200 is a rapid curing, sanitary grade silicone sealant with excellent resistance to mould and mildew. It is ideal for applications in: bathrooms, showers and wet rooms; kitchens; changing areas and hospital sluice rooms. Excellent unprimed adhesion to glass, ceramic tiles, many plastics and paint coatings, vitrified substrates.

Not recommended for materials where migration of constituents can take place (e.g. certain rubbers), permanent immersion or over painting. Do not use where abrasion or physical abuse with be encountered (e.g. trafficable joints). Not suitable for use in aquariums or coated and laminated glass, structural glazing, polycarbonate/polyacrylate, lead, cooper, brass, zinc or galvanised steel. Also unsuitable for use on natural stone and other porous substrates where staining and/or chemical reaction can occur.
